Hey there, my name is Jackie and I’m so happy you’re here! Here’s a little bit about me:

​I’m originally from Berks County, Pennsylvania and I’ve been vacationing in the Outer Banks every summer my entire life. While I’ve been working down here in the summertime since 2018, I didn’t move down here full-time until 2021.  

 

As for my musical journey, my Pop Pop gifted me my first guitar when I was 12 years old. Up until this point, I was a shy girl who never sang in front of anybody and occasionally strummed a ukulele. I can remember strumming the same four chords on that guitar for hours. It fueled something in my soul that I couldn’t explain. While my Pop Pop is no longer here with us anymore, I have him to thank for unknowingly changing my life forever.  ​

Fast forward to when I turned 19 years old, I had a devastating knee injury that would require me to not only have surgery, but be off my leg for an entire summer. Since waitressing was no longer an option, my attention was turned to music. Call it what you want, but the knee injury that I swore was going to ruin my year at the time, ended up kick-starting a career that would bring me more joy than I’ve ever experienced before. I ended up spending every last dime I had on my own set-up, and playing gigs wherever I could get them. The rest is history! I thank God every day for the big obstacles that lead to even bigger blessings.

 

Presently, I play all over Hatteras Island! I play at restaurants, bars, party boats, and piers. I’ve also played numerous private events, and recently began my journey of playing for weddings!
